Clay County is in a Flash Flood WARNING. Many intersections and roads in low areas are flooded. Use extreme caution this morning

Low lying areas have flooded overnight. Intersections and many streets in cities are flooded. Use extreme caution when driving. Please drive slowly to prevent causing a wake that will push water over curbs in city areas. Do Not drive into flooded areas. Manhole covers can be displaced by flood waters and roadbeds can be washed away under the surface. Keep away from flood waters, do not allow children to wade or play in flooded areas. Flood waters are contaminated with sewage, chemicals and debris that could be harmful. Flooding is expected to continue through today. Stay aware of conditions and have multiple ways to receive warnings

Instructions:

Use caution if you must travel. Roadways may be flooded. Allow extra travel time. Do not drive into flooded areas.
