Town Hall Meeting tonight: ATHLETES, INJURIES, AND PAIN: A DISCUSSION OF ALTERNATIVES TO OPIOIDS

On behalf of Police Chief John R. Russo and the Rutherford Police Department, we would like to remind everyone that tonight is the kickoff of Community Conversations part 2 and it is being held at Rutherford High School at 7 PM. The topic is one of importance to everyone of every age : ALTERNATIVES TO OPIOIDS. Learn how to protect your family members from addiction.

Join us from 7 PM to 8:30 PM tonight along with members of the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office and the New Jersey Attorney General, Gurbir S. Grewal. We will have members of your local police department available before and after the event to answer any questions you may have.

Members of the Rutherford Municipal Alliance will also be available to discuss your concerns about prevention of substance abuse. Get to know some of the committee members as well as the Council Liaison, Councilman Thomas Mullahey.

Tips: Carpool if possible, arrive early to find legal parking, drive slow and watch for pedestrians in the crosswalk, cross at intersections and do not dart out into the roadway from between parked cars.

We look forward to seeing you tonight.
