Police activity at Southwestern College (CV campus) has concluded with a safe evacuation of the campus. Chula Vista police officers have been released from the scene but are closely monitoring SWCPD's follow up investigation on the reported campus threat.

Other Chula Vista schools are safe and it is safe to return to the area, but the campus will remain closed until SWC authorities determine the threat has been addressed. Please contact SWC authorities for further information about campus activities and when it is expected to reopen.
