A 6th Grade Student was walking home. A small black SUV stopped and asked if the student wanted a ride. 
On 9-6-18 the Sleepy Eye Police Department received a report from St Mary’s School. St Mary’s school received this report on 9-6-18. The report stated that on 8-30-18 a 6th grade student was walking home from school when a black smaller SUV with a male and female in it stopped and asked the student if they wanted a ride home. The student said no and the vehicle drove away. The student did not recognize the people.
The Sleepy Eye Police Department would like all parents to speak with their children on accepting rides from strangers and what to do if they are confronted with a situation like these.
