A reward of up to $10,000.00 is being offered for information leading to the arrests and indictments of the persons responsible for the bank robberies at the PNC Banks located at 181 Massillon Road and 1546 W. Market St. in Akron. Detectives believe the bank robberies may have been committed by the same suspects.
On August 24, 2018 around 12:30pm in the afternoon, the PNC Bank on Massillon Road was robbed. The employees reported two black males entered the bank and demanded money from each teller. The suspects fled with an unreported amount of cash. No gun was seen.
The first suspect is a black male, 20 – 30 years old, 6’0”, and was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, white bandana covering his face, and dark colored pants. The second suspect is a black male, 20 – 30 years old, 5’08”, with slight facial hair, and wearing sunglasses, blue hooded sweatshirt, and dark colored pants.
On August 31, 2018 around 11:00am in the morning, the PNC Bank on West Market Street, was robbed. The employees reported three black males entered the bank and demanded money. The suspects fled with an unreported amount of cash. No gun was seen.
The suspects are black males. Suspect one was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, white pants, sunglasses, and a white bandana covering his face. The second suspect was wearing dark colored clothing and a skeleton mask. The second suspect was wearing dark colored pants, a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with a white shirt over it, and a skeleton mask.
