Press Release: Drug Dealer Arrested

SUSPECT #1: Jeremy Vincent Correa, 21-year-old Milpitas resident
SUSPECT #2: 16-year-old female, Campbell resident
SUSPECT VEHICLE: 2002 silver Honda Accord

On August 30, 2018, at approximately 4:00 P.M., detectives from the Milpitas Police Department and detectives from the Southern Alameda County Major Crimes Task Force concluded a five month narcotics investigation involving Jeremy Vincent Correa and the sale of Xanax pills. Detectives contacted Correa on the 60 block of South Abbott Avenue in an attempt to take him into custody, but Correa rammed three police vehicles and fled in a silver 2002 Honda Accord. As Correa drove through the parking lot of the Milpitas Center, located on South Abbott Avenue, he rear-ended another vehicle while attempting to exit the shopping center. Detectives quickly surrounded and arrested Correa and a 16-year-old female passenger without further incident. A search of the Honda Accord revealed numerous Xanax pills with an estimated street value of $6000.

Based on the investigation, detectives executed a search warrant at Correa’s residence, in Milpitas, where additional Xanax pills, worth an estimated street value of $8100, a large sum of cash, two firearms, and ammunition were seized as evidence.

Jeremy Vincent Correa was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sales, assault with a deadly weapon on a peace officer, evading, and contributing to the deliqunecy of a minor. The 16-year-old female was cited for possession of a controlled substance for sales and released to her parents.
