Dear Community Stakeholder,
You , your families, and children are invited to attend our FREE 2nd Annual National Disaster Preparedness Month event
10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, September 29, 2018,
at Martin Luther King High School 3200 E. Lafayette Ave., Detroit, MI
There will be face painting, free refreshments, give-a-ways, and demonstrations on Disaster Awareness and Safety by the
Department of Homeland Security/FEMA, Detroit Police Dept, Bomb Squad, Special Response Team, U.S. Border Patrol, Underwater
Recovery Unit, and the U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Helicopter, and much more. Youth will learn about gun safety, anti-abduction techniques, CPR, basic life support, personal self defense, etc.
