There was a delay in optaining necessary materials for this project. This road will be open today (9-11-18). Novant RRMC will require portions of this roadway to be closed for emergency preparedness measures ahead of the heavy rains expected this week. Their contractor is scheduled to begin about 8:00 am with the first closure on Mocksville Ave which will be from Rutherford St to Barker St. When that closure has re-opened, they will close the portion of Mocksville Ave from Barker St to Mahaley Ave. The contractor is responsible for work zone and detour signage. Work is expected to be completed prior to 5:00 pm.
