The Colors of the Kingdom Festival and Parade will be taking place on Saturday, September 15th.
FESTIVAL:
The Colors of the Kingdom Festival will be occurring between 10:00 am and 3:45 pm. CORRECTION: During this period, Railroad Street between Eastern Avenue and TD BANK will be blocked off. Also, Depot Square will be blocked off in the area of the Welcome Center to allow for an Arts and Crafts section. The Pearl Street South Lot will still have the Farmer’s Market between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm. There will also be an event in the Railroad Street Municipal Lot in the small section between the Kingdom Taproom and Depot Square Apartments. Motorists should follow detours and obey law enforcement directions.
PARADE:
The Parade will begin at 10:00 am from the Father Lively Center and follow Summer Street to Mount Pleasant Street, proceed south on Mount Pleasant and Main Street, and then turn east onto Eastern Avenue to Railroad Street, and continue north on Railroad Street until Maple Street. These streets and associated intersections will be blocked off for the parade. Motorists are urged to seek alternate routes and obey any closures.
