Traffic stop leads to the arrest of Yidra Galvan De Gutierrez for possession of stolen property

DATE/TIME: September 16, 2018, at 10:40 a.m.

INCIDENT: Possession of Stolen Property

LOCATION: 2400 block of North Euclid Avenue, San Antonio Heights

SUSPECT(S): Yidra Galvan De Gutierrez, age 42 a a resident of Ontario

VICTIM(S): Confidential


SUMMARY:
On Sunday, September 16, 2018, at 10:40 a.m., while on patrol in San Antonio Heights, Deputy R. Farrow stopped a green Ford Taurus station wagon for vehicle code violations. Yidra Galvan De Gutierrez was the driver and sole occupant of the Taurus. Before being stopped, Galvan De Gutierrez was seen leaving a driveway of a vacant residence in the 2400 block of North Euclid Avenue. During the stop, a search of the Taurus was conducted which produced stolen identification cards and credit cards, a stolen purse, and wallet, along with a suspected stolen blank check. Through the course of the investigation, Farrow discovered the victims were from various areas of Upland and Ontario. Galvan De Gutierrez was subsequently arrested for Penal Code 496 Possession of Stolen Property and booked into West Valley Detention Center.
