Narrative:

On 09/12/2018, Detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s West County Narcotic’s Street Team concluded a month long narcotic investigation into Oxnard resident Seasun Baker who was involved in the sales of methamphetamine to residents of Ventura County.

At approximately 3:30 pm, detectives executed a narcotic search warrant at Baker’s residence located in the 1900 Block of Teal Club Road. Baker and a male subject identified as Francisco Leon were located in the residence along with Baker’s two year old daughter. During the search of the residence detectives located and seized approximately 282 grams of methamphetamine and approximately 200 prescription pills, along with paraphernalia indicative of narcotics sales.

Baker was arrested and booked at the Ventura County Main Jail for several narcotic violations and child endangerment. Her bail was set at $50,000, which she posted. Her next scheduled court appearance is set for 9/26/18 at 8:15 am. Leon was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance. His next court appearance is scheduled for 11/9/2018 at 8:15 am.

The West County Street Narcotics Street Team is comprised of narcotic detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, the Oxnard Police Department, and the Port Hueneme Police Department.
