The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Eastern Wise County in north central Texas... Denton County in north central Texas...

* Until 300 AM CDT..

* At 954 PM CDT, emergency management officials reported ongoing flooding across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain have already fallen. Even during breaks in the heavy rain, flash flooding will continue across the warned area with ongoing high water rescues, road closures, and flooded roads.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Plano, Carrollton, Frisco, Denton, Lewisville, Flower Mound, Grapevine, Coppell, The Colony, Southlake, Corinth, Highland Village, Trophy Club, Lake Dallas, Sanger, Decatur, Lake Lewisville, Briar, Little Elm and Roanoke.

* AFFECTED AREAS: WISE, TX ... DENTON, TX

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
