Come learn "Hands-Only" CPR and how to use an AED at a free event October 10th in Petaluma and Cotati.
Come by any time during the event. You'll learn hands-only CPR and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) like the ones you see at the gyms, movie theaters and other public places. If you have an AED and want to make sure it’s in working order bring it by, we’ll help. We’ll also show you how to sign up for “Pulse-Point”, an app now available locally that will alert CPR trained people that someone in a public place near them needs help. It will also tell you (and 911 dispatch) where the closest public-access AED is located.
See the attached flyer for details.
The Petaluma Health Care District, Petaluma Fire Department, Rancho Adobe Fire District, American Heart Association of the North Bay and Save Lives Sonoma have partnered to welcome you to this informative FREE event.
