Following the Caltrans repaving project on Gravenstein Highway, new roadway striping is being applied. The new striping reflects changed conditions, which now includes a dedicated bike lane and reduces vehicle traffic from 2 lanes to one.
The bright green roadway paint indicates that a new bike lane has replaced the right vehicle traffic lane – now that the lane is marked, it is for bike use only.
Please drive carefully through the area and be aware of the changed conditions.
