Flood Warning

The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
Lawrence County in northeastern Kentucky...

* Until 945 PM EDT.

* At 651 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
that moderate to heavy rain was falling over the area. The rain
will continue into this evening and tonight. Over an inch of rain
has already fallen and an additional half inch of rainfall is
possible. Flooding has been reported in Louisa and more flooding
is likely to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Louisa, Blaine, Yatesville Lake State Park, Webbville, Ulysses,
Martha, Charley, Houckville, Gallup, Fallsburg and Clifford.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
