A sidewalk project, on Old Wilksboro Rd between Brenner Ave and Kelsey Scott Park, will be under construction beginning at 8 am on Monday, 10-1-2018. The construction will take place each day during the hours of 8 am - 5 pm. This portion of the construction will end on 10-5-2018 at 5 pm. The work will begin with a lane closure on the south side of the roadway. A work zone will be established and include flaggers to direct traffic. As the project progresses, the lane closure will then move to the other side of the roadway (north side).
