The Little Egg Harbor Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of SLEO II until October 15th, 2018. Applications must be picked up at Police Headquarters located at 665 Radio Rd Little Egg Harbor Township. Applicants must possess the following:
- Good reputation and be of sound moral character.
- Good physical condition and health.
- Applicants must possess a current NJ PTC SLEO II certification.
OR
-Retired law enforcement officer who served as a duly qualified, fully trained, full-time police officer in any municipality or county of this state, or as a member of the State Police, and was separated from that prior service in good standing within 2 years of appointment to this position.
- Possess a valid NJ Driver's License.
- Be a current NJ Resident and United States Citizen.
- Must be able to perform all tasks, duties and essential job functions of a police officer.
-Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment medical and psychological exam.
