City Manager Suja Lowenthal and Acting Police Chief McKinnon will provide an update to the community in response to community concerns regarding recent incidents in Hermosa Beach. In addition to detailing recent incidents as they were reported to HBPD, the Acting Chief will share the Department’s efforts to provide a more visible presence in and around our parks and schools, and offer opportunities for the community to be involved in keeping our community safe. Community members will have an opportunity at this meeting to ask questions of the City Manager, Acting Chief of Police, and agency representatives from our mental health and homelessness resource partners.
