Broad River area, southern Buncombe has had an extremely large amount of rain overnight causing several problems. Use Caution if in the area and known concerns listed below.
2038 Old Fort Rd had a slide closing one lane near Stone Mtn Baptist Church.
2000 Blk NC 9 near Gold Anchor has 3-4” standing water.
One lane closed Lower Sand Branch Rd near Frosty Hollow due to road undermined.
Numerous places along NC9, Old Fort Rd and all side roads have debris in roadways. Use Extreme Caution if traveling in the area while avoiding if possible.
