The City of Farmington Hills is hosting a campus wide Open House today Sunday, September 30th from Noon-4pm
Come join the fun at the City of Farmington Hills Open House on Sunday, September 30 from noon to 4 p.m. on the City Hall campus at 31555 West Eleven Mile Road at the corner of Eleven Mile and Orchard Lake. Here are just a few of the exciting things to do at the FREE Open House:
-Sit in a police car, watch a demonstration from Dozer the K-9 Police Dog, visit the Crime Scene Lab, and meet with Evidence Technicians.
-Climb on fire trucks, practice escape plans in the Smoke House, try on a firefighter’s uniform, run through an obstacle course, and learn about the National Fire Prevention Week theme: “Look. Listen. Be Aware. Fire Can Happen Anywhere.”
-Climb on an excavator, road grader or dump truck, and paint a snow plow.
-Bounce in a Moonwalk, do a craft project, and get your face painted.
-Register to vote and get information about the upcoming November 6, 2018 Election.
The Open House will also feature a FREE hot dog lunch, games, and prizes. Open House visitors can park in the east parking lot at Oakland Community College located at 27055 Orchard Lake Road and take a free shuttle to City Hall. For more information, call 248-871-2500 or go to www.fhgov.com
