Flash Flood Watch until 09:00AM Wednesday 
The National Weather Service in GRAND JUNCTION has issued a
* Flash Flood Watch for portions of southwest Colorado and west central Colorado, including the following areas. In southwest Colorado, the Northwest and Southwest San Juan Mountains, including the 416 and Burro fire burn scars. In west central Colorado, the Bull Draw fire burn scar on the Uncompahgre Plateau.
* From Tuesday morning through Wednesday morning with periodic breaks in rainfall expected.
* Tropical moisture associated with the remnants of Hurricane Rosa will surge northeast into southwest Colorado beginning early Tuesday providing scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms that will produce heavy rainfall. 1 to 2 inches of rain are expected with localized areas of 4 inches. These rainfall totals may lead to flash flooding, mud slides, and debris flows.
* Residents near any burn scars, especially the 416, Burro, and Bull Draw fires, slot canyons, or normally dry washes should prepare for potential flooding impacts on Tuesday. Be sure to stay up to date with the latest information from local authorities.
* AFFECTED AREAS: NORTHWESTERN SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS ... UNCOMPAHGRE PLATEAU/DALLAS DIVIDE ... SOUTHWEST SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS
