Road Closed at 2038 Old Fort Rd near Stone Mtn Baptist Church 
Road closure is for culvert replacement and may be closed several days. NC DOT is on site doing repairs. Can access Stone Mtn Baptist Church from Hwy 9 side. 2038 Old Fort Rd and beyond including areas like Stone Mtn Farm Rd, Camp Elliot, Earthaven, Cedar Creek Rd, etc must be accessed from McDowell side. We have notified dispatchers to send different emergency services to these residents and there will be delays. Please contact DOT Asheville office for any questions.
