The inaugural Crest Best Run Fest running races will be held Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 6-7, throughout Wildwood Crest, as well as portions of Diamond Beach and the Wildwoods Boardwalk.

Please be advised that some detours and road closures will occur during Saturday's 5K race at 9:30 am and Sunday's 5- and 1-mile races Sunday at 7:30 and 7:45 am, respectively. Most road closures and detours will take place along Ocean Avenue, in the Rambler Road area and the Jefferson Avenue area, although other areas will also be affected. In addition, the Middle Thorofare Bridge connecting Diamond Beach/Wildwood Crest with the Cape May area will be CLOSED on Sunday from 7:30 am to no later than 9:30 am.

The public is urged to take part in this event by becoming a volunteer or by simply attending the race and cheering on the participants. Log on to delmosports.com to sign up as a volunteer.
