Sheriff Testing packets 
The Saline County Merit Commission will be holding tests, to fill future and/or upcoming positions at the Saline County Sheriff’s Office.
The Saline County Merit Commission is responsible for maintaining, an active list of candidates for potential hires within the Saline County Sheriff’s Office. Those positions include: Telecommunicators, Correctional Officers and Deputy Sheriff’s.
Application packets may be picked up at anytime from the Saline County Sheriff’s Office at 1 North Main Street in Harrisburg.
The packets are required to be returned by Noon on October 16th to the Saline County Sheriff’s Office. Testing will be held at Southeastern Illinois College as follows:
Telecommunications Test on October 24th.
Correctional and Deputy Tests on October 27th.
