The Green Bay Police Department has an important message for you!
The Green Bay Police Department (GBPD) is participating in the national “Coffee with a Cop” day. Today, Officers from GBPD will be at various locations within the City of Green Bay speaking with residents to develop relationships and address any concerns.
“Coffee with a Cop” is a movement designed to help break down the barriers in communities between residents and officers that can make it hard to address crime and public safety. It is a simple plan: Officers invite their residents to join them for a cup of coffee and a conversation. It has been spreading like wildfire ever since the first cup was poured, and today more than 2,000 law enforcement agencies throughout the United States participate in this movement. http://coffeewithacop.com/
Officers will be at various locations throughout the city. Officers will be at Veterans Manor at 2900 St. Anthony Dr starting at 10:00 AM, and starting at 11:00 AM officers will be at the Daily Buzz (130 E. Walnut St #124), and Starbucks at 615 S. Military Ave.
If you see an officer, please take a moment and have a conversation with him or her. This event stresses the importance of building relationships between law enforcement and the communities we serve. We look forward to meeting with you.
