Campbell, CA - The Campbell Police Department is looking for the public’s assistance in identifying an individual believed to be responsible for stealing jewelry and cash from a local Campbell business.
On September 28, 2018, at approximately 5:50 pm, a theft occurred at the “Celtic Shop” in Downtown Campbell. An unknown male entered the store and stole over $6,000 in jewelry and cash.
The “Celtic Shop” is a local small business that has been a fixture in Downtown Campbell for over 12 years. It has been one of the main sources of Celtic wear in the South Bay for the past 36 years.
Surveillance video shows the suspect enter the store and begin looking around. Unbeknownst to the employee working at the time, the suspect removed jewelry from an unlocked glass display case. He then proceeded to take cash out of the register and returned to the jewelry display case two more times, removing more items. The theft was not discovered until after the suspect left and the video was reviewed.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s. He is wearing a dark gray baseball cap, black collared shirt with gray stripes, dark pants and black Nike shoes.
We are releasing this information and the video in hopes that someone will recognize this individual. The Campbell Police Department is grateful for the partnership we have with community members and look forward to solving another case through a collaborative effort.
