A sidewalk project, on Old Wilksboro Rd between Brenner Ave and Kelsey Scott Park, started construction this week. The construction will continue next week as well, 10-8-2018 through 10-12-2018. The work is to take place each day during the hours of 8 am - 5 pm. This portion of the construction will end on 10-12-2018 at 5 pm. The work will begin with a lane closure on the south side of the roadway. A work zone will be established and include flaggers to direct traffic. As the project progresses, the lane closure will then move to the other side of the roadway (north side).
