Open at 6:00 AM EACH MONDAY close at 10:00 PM EACH FRIDAY (setnet sites lottery at 5:30 AM EACH MONDAY)
*** A reminder to setnet fishermen: must have a valid and current setnet permit (with a blue sticker) to participate in this fishery*** AREA RESTRICTIONS:
Setnets are open only in that portion of Area 8D which is inside Tulalip Bay (the area east of a straight line between the boat ramp located on the tip of Hermosa Point to the dead standing tree at the south tip of the first cement breakwater on Mission Point).
SETNETS MUST BE ATTENDED:
To minimize losses from marine mammal predation, nets must be attended at all times during this opening. Any net left unattended, even when fishing is open, will be considered to be fishing illegally. Nets must be removed from the water when the fisherman leaves the fishing grounds (***Strictly enforced***).

Gillnets, Skiff Gillnets, Beach Seines, and Roundhauls are open only in that portion of Area 8D which is outside Tulalip Bay (that portion of Area 8D west of a straight line between the boat ramp located on the tip of Hermosa Point to the dead standing tree at the south tip of the first cement breakwater on Mission Point).

CATCH REPORTING:
To document that harvest has been properly recorded, all salmon in the possession of Tulalip tribal members and harvested under this fishing regulation must be accompanied by either: 1) a properly filled out Treaty Indian Fish Receiving Ticket or 2) a properly filled out Tulalip Catch Recording Ticket. The ticket must include at least the following information: fisherman's name and tribal enrollment number, date of harvest, catch area of harvest, gear used to harvest, and the number of each species of salmon harvested. The Tulalip Fisheries Department will assist in meeting this obligation by filling out fish tickets and sampling the catch between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm on days the fishery is open, and from 8:00 am until 2:30 pm the day following the fishery. Please phone 360-716 4600 or 360-716 4627 (8:00 am - 4:30 pm) to arrange for a Tulalip Fisheries Staff member to meet you at the Tulalip Marina or at the Tulalip Fisheries Department to sample your catch.
