Update: Snyder Lane is Now Open between Keiser Ave and Southwest Blvd

On Saturday October 6, 2018, the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety will be coordinating the annual Founder’s Day Parade with city staff. The parade will impact Snyder Ln. starting at 9:00am. Southbound Snyder Ln. from Keiser Rd. to Rohnert Park Expressway will be closed to through traffic as the parade route gets set. All access to Snyder Ln. between Rohnert Park Expressway and Southwest Blvd. will be closed at the same time.
 
            The parade will start at  Lawrence Jones Middle School and travel south across Rohnert Park Expressway and end at Rancho Cotate High School. The parade is expected to be on the roadway for at least an hour. The roadways will be closed until all pedestrians are moved onto the sidewalks and it is safe to reopen. In years past the roadway has been reopened by 11:30am.
 
            Residents of Rancho Grande mobile home park will be directed northbound onto Snyder Ln. The only entrance into Rancho Grande will be from the north and drivers will be required to speak with a Public Safety officer at Keiser Rd before being granted access.

            All residents of Park Ridge, Americana, and Brookdale apartments will be directed northbound starting at 9:00am. There will be no through traffic to Rohnert Park Expressway starting at that time. Residents will need to drive north on Snyder Ln. to Eleanor Ave. to access Country Club Dr. or Golf Course Dr. to access Commerce Blvd. When entering town from Petaluma Hill Rd. there will be limited access to northbound Snyder Ln from Rohnert Park Expressway. Accommodations will be made for those needing to access Redwood Park Estates and Medical Center Dr. Residents coming from those areas will be directed north on Snyder Ln while the parade is in progress, expect delays at Lawrence Jones Middle School.
