Just before 6AM today, APD Officers responded to a grocery store in the 900 block of 11th Street per the report of a robbery that had just occurred. Investigation on scene revealed that two men were speaking cordially outside the store for several minutes and when the victim, a man in a wheelchair, attempted to leave, the suspect pulled the man’s fanny pack off, pulling him from his wheelchair in the process. The suspect then ran southbound along Q Avenue. Officers were unable to locate the suspect at that time. The victim sustained minor injuries.

The suspect is described as a tall, slender, dark-skinned male in his 20’s, with dark facial hair. He was wearing a dark beanie, a dark colored hoodie with “Cal” printed on the front, dark pants, and white athletic shoes.
