The National Weather Service in Duluth has issued a

* Flood Watch for portions of Minnesota and Wisconsin, including the following areas, in Minnesota, Carlton/South St. Louis, Pine, Southern Cook/North Shore, and Southern Lake/North Shore. In Wisconsin, Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Iron, Price, Sawyer, and Washburn.

* From late tonight through late Wednesday night

* An extended period of moderate to heavy rainfall may lead to flooding.

* Rivers will see rapid rises and will remain high.

* Since it is autumn, fallen leaves may clog gutters or drainage pipes increasing the chances for flooding.

* AFFECTED AREAS: BAYFIELD ... PRICE ... ASHLAND ... CARLTON/SOUTH ST. LOUIS ... WASHBURN ... SAWYER ... PINE ... SOUTHERN COOK/NORTH SHORE ... IRON ... BURNETT ... DOUGLAS ... SOUTHERN LAKE/NORTH SHORE
