The Troup County Sheriff's Office along with our local emergency planners received a weather briefing at 12:30 this afternoon as it relates to Hurricane Michael. The highlights from the briefing show Troup County seeing impacts beginning late Wednesday afternoon or evening through Thursday morning. As it stands we should see wind gust up to possibly 30 mph and rain between 1-2". As with any storm, any change in the path it takes would make a difference in the forecast.
