Weather Update 
Key messages from the 12:30 emergency management meeting:
Troup County should start seeing wind impacts around 9 PM with gust possibly near the 39 mph range and 2-3" of rain possible.
Quick spin-up tornadoes are not out of the question.
This is going to be an overnight event for our area with conditions possibly being worse between the hours of 10 PM and 2 AM.
Please limit all unnecessary travel beginning around 10 PM.
If you experience power outages, DO NOT call 911 unless that power outage is life threatening and if you see lines that are down on roads or homes, do not touch them, call your utility provider. This evening charge your cell phones, monitor weather radios and or apps. Also please do not call 911 to get weather or road conditions as they will be focused on emergency calls. We will attend another weather briefing at 5:30 PM and will update as such.
