Section of East Palomar Street in Chula Vista to be Closed Thursday, October 18, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
On Thursday, October 18, East Palomar Street will be closed in both directions between View Park Way and Magdalena Avenue, to accommodate pavement restoration improvements near Santa Venetia Rapid Station. During this time, Magdalena Avenue will be closed at the East Palomar Street intersection. Work will take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and parking on East Palomar Street will be restricted.
Construction activities will take place on East Palomar Street between View Park Way and Magdalena Avenue. Motorists, residents, and businesses can expect noise, mild vibrations, road closures, and traffic detours during work hours. Motorists will be detoured around the closures. Traffic control equipment and crews will be onsite to assist motorists through the detour.
