Advisory

Stuyvesant Avenue and Page Avenue Reopened

The building on the corner of Stuyvesant Avenue and Page Avenue has been deemed structurally safe by Neglia Engineering. Stuyvesant Avenue and Page Avenue both have been reopened to vehicular traffic. The sidewalk on the Stuyvesant Avenue side of the building will remain closed throughout construction.

Roosevelt School student drop-off and pick-up will be back to normal procedure. Students that are walking must use the designated school crossings at Kingsland Avenue and Stuyvesant Avenue or at Page Avenue and Stuyvesant Avenue. The crossing guards at those locations have been instructed to direct students to the west side of Stuyvesant Avenue (across the street from the school) so they can safely walk to and from school or to their usual lunchtime places.

The DeCamp bus stops on Stuyvesant Avenue between Kingsland Avenue and Page Avenue will resume their regular route. The DeCamp Bus Company was advised.
