The Thurmont Police Department and Woodsboro Bank Community Shred Event scheduled for Saturday October 27, 2018 has been rescheduled for November 3, 2018, 8:00am to 12:00pm, at the Thurmont Police Department, 800 E. Main Street. ALL- SHRED, Inc. will provide a truck for four (4) hours and give all residents in Thurmont and surrounding areas to bring up to five (5) boxes of documents per resident. As part of this free service to residents, the host will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Thurmont Food Bank. Residents are encouraged to prevent Identity Fraud and Identity Theft by taking advantage of this free service and have their sensitive documents shredded.
