PRESS RELEASE - Victim of Fatal Hit and Run Identified 
Sunnyvale, CA. - On October 20, 2018 at approximately 1:40 p.m., Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety officers responded to eastbound Central Expressway at Pajaro Avenue on the report of a collision involving a bicyclist and an auto. DPS police and fire personnel arrived at the scene and found 73-year-old Sunnyvale resident Javad Hada in the roadway. He was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The hit and run vehicle was described as a maroon, 2004-2006 Toyota Sienna minivan. The vehicle has major damage to the right side of the windshield and right front fender damage.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
