In support of the National Take Back Initiative, the Norwood Police Department invites the community to take a visible stand against drugs by disposing of unwanted and unused prescription drugs on Saturday, October 27th, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m at the Norwood Police Station. The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day addresses a vital public safety and public health issue, while supporting the mission of raising awareness of drug use and the problems related to drugs. Norwood residents are encouraged to clean out their cabinets and take this opportunity to safely dispose of any unused or expired medication. Norwood police officers will be on hand to assist with the safe disposal of medication. No questions will be asked. *** Please note that no needles will be accepted
