20th St closing at train viaduct to all traffic for signal upgrades beginning today at 7AM - should be open again after 4PM. 
Rockford – On Thursday, November 1, 2018, the City of Rockford Public Works Department is closing 20th St at the train viaduct to all traffic in both directions. Crews will be making required signal upgrades. The closure will begin approximately 7:00 AM and should be completed by 4:00 PM the same day.
Traffic control and detours will be in place. Citizens will need to find an alternate route during this time.
