Message Alert from Huron Township Supervisor David Glaab and Director of Public Safety Everette Robbins 
PUBLIC SAFETY MESSAGE/ ALERT:
The construction company performing construction on the Waltz Road bridge has severed a gas main near the river. According to DTE, it is not anticipated that there will be any loss of service to residents. Although there could be a smell of gas in the area, there is no danger to the area. The Huron Township Fire Department has been on the scene for safety verification. DTE is currently at the scene and working on a repair.
