LOST SIMI VALLEY MAN FOUND SAFE

On 10/30/18 at approximately 8:10 PM, the Simi Valley Police Department received a call from 76 yr. old Sheldon Miller of Simi Valley. Sheldon stated for the past three hours he and his vehicle, a white Cadillac Deville, had been stuck in some loose gravel on a dirt road and he was unable to get free. He was also unsure of his location. Using advanced policing techniques, the Simi Valley Police Department Communications Bureau was able to place the lost traveler in the area of the Simi Valley landfill. Simi Valley Police units, as well as an airship from LAPD, rushed to the area and after a thorough search, found the subject safe and uninjured on a dirt embankment. After freeing the vehicle from the embankment, Sheldon and his vehicle were escorted to his home, safe and sound.
