WWPD would like to extend a huge thank you to Target (Nassau Park Pavilion) and West Windsor PBA #271 for ensuring Officers of WWPD were well equipped with enough candy for the children on Halloween. Ptl. Nagy (President of West Windsor PBA #271) and Training Officer Latham were with Target staff members (*as seen in attached photo #1) preparing for Halloween! We would like to offer a special thank you to the resident of the Charter Club who was at Target and offered to pay for any additional candy so the kids in the community would have the best Halloween!
This morning, Traffic Officer LaTorre, Det. J. Jones, Det. B. Jones, Ptl. Collins, and Det. Woodrow worked to get all of the candy ready for distribution later today (*as seen in attched photo #2).
Be on the look out for our Officers to be in neighborhoods later this afternoon and into this evening either on foot, riding a bicycle, on motorcycle, or by patrol car with plenty of candy for the kids.
We're also proud to announce that the businesses in Windsor Plaza located at 64 Princeton-Hightstown Road are having a "Safe Trick or Treat" from 4 pm to 7 pm for children.
