During the week of November 12, 2018 residents on Heron Road, Little Egg Harbor Blvd., Flamingo Road, Curlew Road and Parker Road will be without water for one day so that we can tie the new mains into South Green Street. I am not sure which day it will be, but as we get a little closer to the date we will be giving an update through Nixle. But for now just know it will be during that week.
UPDATE HERON ROAD
Both the Water Main and Sewer Main are complete.
All the sewer laterals (besides a few homes at the cul-de-sac) are complete.
The water laterals are still being worked on, but a majority of them are done.
Next week some time the contractor will be paving a 20 foot wide skim coat from South Green Street to the bend. Once the tie in to South Green Street is complete I am sure they will finish the rest of the road with a skim coat and work on site work. This should get us through the winter and in the spring a new company (Arawak) will be doing final paving and the rebuild of storm drains.
