Locally heavy rainfall will possible through sunrise over the Missouri bootheel and northwest Tennessee ahead of an advancing cold front. 1 to 2 inches of rainfall will be possible, with up to 3 inches in localized areas. Drier air aloft will arrive later in the morning, reducing the flood threat. The Flood Watch is now in effect for
* Portions of Southeast Missouri and West Tennessee, including the following areas, in Southeast Missouri, Dunklin and Pemiscot. In West Tennessee, Benton, Carroll, Crockett, Decatur, Dyer, Gibson, Henderson, Henry, Lake, Madison, Obion, and Weakley.
* Until 7 AM CDT this morning.
* 1 to 2 inches of rainfall possible, with localized amounts to 3 inches.
* Some flooding is possible on roads, low lying and poor drainage areas, and along creeks and streams.
* AFFECTED AREAS: OBION ... DYER ... HENRY ... WEAKLEY ... CROCKETT ... DECATUR ... CARROLL ... BENTON ... GIBSON ... PEMISCOT ... HENDERSON ... DUNKLIN ... LAKE ... MADISON
