Homicide Investigator's Charge Man In Murder Of Galena Park Resident. 
Homicide Investigators have charged a man in the death of a local Galena Park man.
On October 31, 2018, investigators charged Isaac Sims, 17, with capital murder for killing 42-year old Luis Carlos Flores after robbing him.
On May 1, 2018, at approximately 10:45 PM, the Galena Park Police Department contacted the HCSO Homicide Unit for their assistance in a murder investigation at a residence in the 1700 block of Duna Way Court in east Harris County.
Investigators responded to the scene and observed a vehicle partially submerged in Hunters Bayou.
The body of Flores was in the backseat of the vehicle.
The autopsy revealed the complainant sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
The preliminary investigation has revealed the complainant was possibly involved in an illegal firearms transaction near the time of his death.
Sims is currently being held on an unrelated kidnapping case in the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Detention Facility.
