On November 2, 2018 at approximately 1:33 p.m. Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department received a suspicious circumstance call in the area of Saratoga-Los Gatos Rd. and Daves Ave. Assisted by Santa Clara County Sheriff’s deputies, a victim was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim stated he was driving westbound on Saratoga-Los Gatos Rd. and was shot by an unknown suspect. The victim was transported to a local medical facility for treatment of his injuries, which do not appear to be life-threatening. At this time, Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Officers and Detectives are conducting follow-up investigation. As a result, Saratoga-Los Gatos Rd. between Greenwood Rd. and Quito Rd. is closed to westbound traffic. This appears to be an isolated incident and there is no reason to believe there is a public safety issue in the area.
