Deputies arrest Dwayne Johnson for child abuse

SUSPECT: Dwayne Johnson, 37-year-old resident of Adelanto
VICTIM: 17-year-old male
SUMMARY:
On Saturday, November 3, 2018, dispatch received a report of a child abuse that occurred in the 11400 block of Arlington Street in the City of Adelanto.
Deputy David Moore arrived and investigated the allegations. Deputy Moore learned the victim confronted Dwayne Johnson about how he was treating his children. Johnson became upset at the victim and struck him in the head with a glass mug and punched the victim multiple times in the face.
Dwayne Johnson was arrested on charges of child abuse and booked at High Desert Detention Center. Johnson is currently being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
