Armed Robbery - Downtown Business

Crime Description / Code: Armed Robbery – 211 PC
Suspect: Hispanic male adult, 30’s, 5’07”, 200 lbs., black hair, wearing a red track jacket (the top of the jacket was red with a white stripe; the bottom was blue).
Weapon: Revolver
On 11/05/2018, at approx. 5:38 P.M., the Walnut Creek Police Department received a 9-1-1 call reporting an armed robbery inside Destination Maternity, located at 1604 Mt. Diablo Blvd. Responding Officers arrived on scene within two minutes. The investigation revealed the above suspect pointed a gun at an employee and demanded money from the cash register. The employee complied. The suspect left in an unknown direction – no vehicle was seen. No employees or customers were harmed during the robbery. A WCPD canine unit assisted with the area check, however the suspect was not located.
