A Temecula woman is arrested for grand theft auto

SUSPECT: Lonnesha Valshalon Harwick, 34 years old, resident of Temecula
SUMMARY:
On November 4, 2018 at approximately 4:24 p.m., Deputy Tony Buscemi attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a black Nissan Rogue after witnessing the driver violate several vehicle codes, including unsafe speeds and passing on the right shoulder of the roadway. The driver finally yielded at Baker Boulevard and Caltrans Avenue and was identified as Lonnesha Harwick.
The Rogue’s license plates were missing. A records check of the vehicle’s identification number determined the Rogue had been reported stolen in the San Bernardino Police Department’s jurisdiction on November 4, 2018. Harwick was found to be on felony probation out of Temecula and arrested for the theft of the vehicle.
