...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Wet snow. Additional snow accumulations of up to two
inches.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central and southwest
Missouri. Generally along and north of a Pittsburg KS to Rolla
MO line.

* WHEN...Until midnight CST tonight.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions in
spots. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening
commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads
and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

...Very cold air will move in Friday night...

.A Canadian high pressure system will bring an abrupt end to the
growing season for those areas which have not yet seen a hard
freeze. Temperatures Friday night into Saturday morning are
expected to dip into the teens to around 20 degrees for a low.
...FREEZE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY EVENING THROUGH SATURDAY
MORNING...

The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a Freeze
Watch, which is in effect from Friday evening through Saturday
morning.

* TEMPERATURE...Teens to around 20 for lows.

* IMPACTS...The hard freeze across the area will bring an end to
the growing season across the area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
